Veho is building modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure for ecommerce. As Director of People Strategy & Operations, you will lead the people function to support aggressive scaling in 2026. You'll own the strategic connection between hiring, development, and business outcomes—ensuring top talent enters, grows rapidly, and elevates team performance. You will directly manage a core team of approximately six people across Total Rewards, Employee Experience, Performance Management, People Systems & AI, and People Analytics. This is a hands-on, player-coach role requiring both strategic vision and willingness to build programs yourself. Key Responsibilities: Talent Quality & Roadmap: Set priorities for people programs, define clear metrics for team quality across functions, identify performance gaps, and execute improvement plans. Hiring-to-Development Loop: Track new hire quality, use the first 90 days as an assessment window, and provide direct feedback to Talent Acquisition to refine recruiting focus. Performance & Manager Growth: Design performance reviews, calibration sessions, and clear performance standards. Train managers to identify top performers, challenge them with growth opportunities, and address underperformance within weeks. Total Rewards: Finalize and maintain compensation structure, job levels, pay bands, market benchmarking, and merit/promotion guidelines. Oversee benefits strategy and vendor management. Systems, AI & Analytics: Manage HRIS, data integrations, and data accuracy. Build executive dashboards and implement AI/automation to eliminate manual HR tasks. Team Leadership: Direct a team of six across Total Rewards, Employee Experience, People Systems, AI, and Analytics. Set operational standards and work hands-on alongside your team. Success in Year One: Optimized team structure, reliable data and reporting for leadership, clear performance standards with fast resolution of underperformance, targeted retention of high performers, transparent compensation framework, and automated workflows. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition and People Business Partners, connecting people investments directly to business outcomes and ROI.
