SimpleClosure is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead and operate the full marketing function at a venture-backed B2B SaaS company. SimpleClosure has raised over $20M and serves 7,000+ companies by streamlining business dissolution—a $4M+ annual market opportunity. The company is building infrastructure to professionalize company shutdowns, from legal and tax to asset recovery.
This is a senior, execution-heavy leadership role reporting to the Head of GTM and Revenue. You will own the complete marketing engine: day-to-day execution across all channels, marketing operations and process design, performance accountability across the funnel, team leadership and development, brand and PR strategy, product marketing and positioning, paid/lifecycle marketing and growth ops, events, and analytics infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include building repeatable marketing systems that drive predictable growth; establishing operating cadence, prioritization frameworks, and delivery discipline; owning marketing KPIs and ROI; leading and developing the marketing team; managing brand, PR, and external positioning; developing go-to-market strategy and sales enablement; optimizing paid channels and conversion funnels; and building reporting infrastructure and measurement frameworks.
You should have strong operational rigor and planning discipline, a proven track record of owning performance and accountability, experience leading teams across complex initiatives, comfort with end-to-end brand and PR ownership, and a deep analytical mindset. This role is ideal for someone who loves building scalable systems and processes, is energized by execution and operational excellence, enjoys team leadership and creating clarity, thinks in terms of measurable impact, and prefers ownership over influence. This is not a brand-only, vision-only, early-stage generalist, or pure experimentation role.
Compensation: $140,000–$200,000 base salary (depending on experience and location), competitive equity, comprehensive health benefits, life insurance, unlimited PTO, flexible hybrid work in New York or Los Angeles, two company-wide offsites annually, and 401(k) with immediate eligibility.
