Salary: USD 195,000 - 230,000 / annual
Kestra Medical is a medical device company founded in 2014 that combines wearable technologies with proven cardiac device therapies. The company serves patients and care teams in monitoring, managing, and protecting cardiac health.
The Director of Information Technology leads internal IT teams and external service providers responsible for IT service management, enterprise systems, foundational infrastructure, and execution of Kestra's technology roadmap. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the CIO.
Key responsibilities include:
**Leadership & Team Management**: Manage assigned IT team members and suppliers, including workload direction, coaching, performance feedback, resource allocation, and escalation management. Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align IT priorities with business needs.
**Enterprise Systems & Platforms**: Partner with business owners on intake, prioritization, and change governance for enterprise systems. Oversee evaluation, design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of key platforms including ERP, CRM, QMS, PLM, and field service systems. Own incident, problem, and request management processes. Execute enterprise integration strategy including APIs, middleware, and data flows.
**Vendor & Managed Services Governance**: Support sourcing, vendor evaluation, contracts, and roadmap decisions. Manage vendor governance, SLAs, performance metrics, escalation paths, and continuous improvement. Monitor strategic supplier spend and total cost of service against budget.
**Operational Governance**: Own daily and weekly IT operational governance including service performance, project delivery, budget status, risks, and supplier follow-up. Provide monthly reporting to the CIO on material risks, budget exceptions, and strategic decisions.
**Compliance, Security & Risk**: Direct configuration and management of enterprise systems to support data retention, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and information risk management. Partner with Information Security and Compliance leadership. Ensure AI, automation, and low-code solutions meet security, privacy, validation, and regulatory requirements.
**Financial & Operational Management**: Own IT budget management, spend governance, invoice review, forecasting, license optimization, and vendor cost control. Resolve routine operational and staffing issues within approved governance thresholds.
The role requires an indoor office environment in Kirkland with occasional travel (10%). Extended hours may be required. The company maintains a drug-free workplace with testing as a condition of employment.

**Required:**
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience
- Experience owning strategic managed service provider relationships, including governance cadence, SLA and performance management, escalation handling, and financial oversight
- Experience leading outsourced or co-managed IT delivery models across enterprise systems, integrations, infrastructure, and support services in a regulated environment
- Experience across ERP, CRM, field service, quality, PLM, integration, and infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Azure, and Power Platform
- Experience in regulated medical device, life sciences, or healthcare environments, including validated systems, computer system validation, and software assurance practices
**Preferred:**
- Experience governing AI, automation, and low-code adoption
- Understanding of modern integration and API management practices
- Exposure to ITIL and PMI frameworks
