Vi is seeking a Director of Growth to lead enterprise sales strategy and execution for its AI-powered products, Vi Engage and Vi Activate. This is a strategic individual contributor role focused on building and scaling a 7-8 figure enterprise sales pipeline, with particular emphasis on the wellness vertical targeting VC-backed, high-growth D2C and e-commerce brands. Key responsibilities include developing and executing go-to-market strategy, driving full sales cycle management from prospecting through deal closure, and building a new sub-ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) for the wellness/D2C vertical from the ground up. You will create target account lists, develop use cases and case studies, and craft messaging that resonates with enterprise buyers. The role requires close partnership with the Product team to provide market feedback and iterate on product-market fit, as well as collaboration with design on sales enablement assets. You will serve as a product expert and internal champion for clients, provide accurate pipeline forecasting, and act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on strategic initiatives and sales optimization. While this is positioned as a strategic IC role, there is opportunity for growth into people management as the team scales. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with a proven track record closing $1M+ ARR deals, ideally in AI or technical platforms. You thrive in startup environments (Series A/B stage), excel at identifying and closing large 7-figure enterprise deals, and are skilled at reading the room to adapt strategy and business case. You are consultative, thoughtful, and capable of navigating complex multistakeholder sales. Experience selling agentic, SaaS, or marketing technology to D2C/e-commerce brands is preferred. Consulting background (Bain, Accenture, McKinsey, Deloitte, PwC) or investment banking experience (Goldman, Morgan Stanley, JPM) is a plus.
