7AI is a foundational AI security company founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders, backed by $166M in funding from Index Ventures and Blackstone. The company pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents for detection, investigation, response, and threat hunting, positioning itself as the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era.
You will lead 7AI's experiential marketing strategy and build the function from the ground up. This is a strategic ownership role where you set the vision and standards for how 7AI shows up in person—designing memorable moments rather than transactional booth presence. You'll own the full portfolio: flagship industry events, executive dinners, roundtables, brand activations, and regional/channel events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning 7AI's experiential marketing strategy across all event types and scales
- Leading 7AI's presence at major security industry conferences from concept through on-site execution
- Designing executive experiences that resonate with CISOs and security leaders
- Managing budgets, vendors, venues, and production partners end-to-end
- Building and leading the experiential marketing team as it grows
- Partnering with sales, brand, and product marketing to ensure events drive real business outcomes
- Measuring impact (brand recall, relationships, pipeline influence) and iterating
- Traveling regularly to execute events on-site
The role demands someone with an uncompromising eye for design and production polish—someone who understands the difference between impressing a room and earning its trust. You'll be working with security leaders who are discerning and skeptical; substance and craft matter more than spectacle.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years in event management or experiential marketing with direct ownership of large-scale programs from budget through execution
- Track record of running flagship events that people remember, not just attend
- Experience managing production vendors, venues, and budgets end-to-end
- Comfort building a program area from scratch with no existing playbook
- Strong eye for design and brand experience; ability to distinguish between a booth and a moment
- Background ideally from luxury hospitality, high-profile entertainment, fashion, or elite social events where craft and guest experience are exceptionally high
- Experience leading or mentoring other event or field marketers
- Judgment to design experiences for skeptical, technical, or risk-averse audiences, earning trust rather than just dazzling
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience marketing to security or IT buyers, including CISOs and security operations teams
- Experience running programs at major security conferences (RSAC, Black Hat, DEF CON, or similar)
- Experience designing for high-profile, VIP, or celebrity clientele where guest experience defined success
- Experience in high-growth or early-stage startup environments
