This Director of Partner Sales role is based in Seoul and leads the Partner Sales organization across Korea. You will build and manage an experienced sales team focused on key partner relationships, including Alliance, Cloud, MSP, Reseller, and Distribution partners. Your responsibilities include developing territory strategy aligned with short- and long-term revenue goals, hiring and deploying talent, setting performance expectations, coaching team members, managing pipeline, and collaborating with Enterprise Sales, Sales Engineering, Renewals, and support teams. Key accountabilities include: delivering strong growth across all Partner Sales activity in Korea; leading and developing the Partner sales team; achieving and exceeding annual revenue plans; transitioning the business toward Cloud and As-A-Service routes to market; maintaining alignment with corporate and regional strategic directions; creating and owning the Korea Channel Plan; achieving quarterly financial and non-financial targets; engaging with local channel teams, district managers, RVPs, field sales, pre-sales, and marketing; structuring partner go-to-market strategies; influencing partner sales teams to prioritize Cohesity; and evangelizing solutions to partners and their customers. You should have a strong history leading enterprise sales, account management experience with major Korean SI companies, fundamental understanding of the Korean market, proven leadership track record, ability to influence key stakeholders, strong customer and partner networks, and capability to analyze sales data and drive outcomes. Proficiency in English and Korean is required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and support decision-making is valued.
