Flock Safety is seeking a Director of Digital Content Strategy to architect and lead a comprehensive multi-platform social media strategy as the company scales its brand presence across public sector and commercial markets. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic vision with day-to-day execution.
You will own the design and launch of Flock's social media playbook across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. You'll define and maintain the company's social brand voice, creating content that builds awareness, trust, and engagement with both public sector and commercial audiences. Daily responsibilities include managing channel operations, publishing schedules, content calendars, real-time brand engagement, and crisis communication.
Cross-functional collaboration is central to the role. You'll partner with Brand, Creative, Content, Communications, and Product Marketing teams to amplify major campaigns and product launches. You'll establish social analytics dashboards, track KPIs, and scale a dedicated social media team as the function grows.
The role explicitly balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution—you'll actively manage day-to-day channel operations and real-time publishing rather than working purely at a high level. This is not a corporate communications or PR role; your core focus is multi-platform social media growth, channel engagement, and digital storytelling.
Flock is a civic-tech company that has supported over 1 million criminal investigations and helped locate more than 10,000 missing people. The company has 1,700 employees and over $1B in funding. The role offers a competitive salary of $200,000–$250,000 plus stock options.
