Chime is seeking a Director of Digital Acquisition to lead the company's full digital acquisition portfolio, including paid social, paid search, affiliate, YouTube, mobile and app networks, and emerging channels. This is a leadership role focused on building teams and identifying tomorrow's growth engines, not just managing existing channels. You will own performance across all digital acquisition channels, delivering ambitious growth, efficiency, and customer acquisition cost (CAC) targets. Key responsibilities include making portfolio-level investment and prioritization decisions across channels, talent, technology, and vendor partnerships; leading and developing a team of experienced channel managers as a player-coach; building new acquisition channels and technology-enabled growth motions; and staying plugged into the external digital ecosystem to identify opportunities early. You'll push the organization to rebuild how it works around AI—experimentation, creative production, media buying, and measurement—and partner cross-functionally with Media Planning, Growth Product Marketing, Analytics, Risk, and Finance to align channel strategy with company-level goals. You'll also represent Digital Acquisition in senior leadership forums, translating channel performance into business outcomes for executive and board-level audiences. The role sits within Chime's newly evolved Media & Acquisition organization, working alongside a Director of Media. Together, these roles are broadening in scope as Chime moves from a channel-by-channel model toward a portfolio-level view of marketing ROI. You should have experience leading a multi-channel digital acquisition or growth organization with meaningful business accountability, a demonstrated record of owning growth and efficiency outcomes, and experience managing significant media portfolios and making prioritization tradeoffs. A leadership style that blends strategic range with hands-on credibility is essential, along with experience building and scaling teams and developing future leaders.
