Reindeer AI is building an agentic AI platform that transforms complex enterprise business workflows into AI-powered operations. As Director of Brand & Communications, you will build and own the brand and narrative function from the ground up at this well-funded, early-stage startup. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, can create structure where none exists, and works closely with founders to define how Reindeer shows up in the market.
You will own brand and communications end-to-end: positioning and narrative strategy, press and earned media, founder visibility, and owned content. You will also build the function itself—hiring the team, establishing systems, and setting standards for how the company shows up across all channels and touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include: developing Reindeer's positioning and voice into a scalable brand system; conceiving and executing brand campaigns from concept through asset creation and multi-channel deployment; setting editorial vision and voice guidelines; developing and executing media strategy and building press relationships to earn coverage; building founder and executive visibility through bylines, podcasts, panels, and speaking opportunities; ghostwriting and coaching executives; and hiring and growing the brand and comms team as the company scales.
You will report directly into leadership and partner closely with founders, Sales, and Product on positioning and go-to-market strategy. The role offers the opportunity to shape how the market thinks about Reindeer before the category is defined by competitors, build scalable systems for brand storytelling, and own the company's brand and reputation as proof of market leadership.
