VTS is seeking a Director of Marketing Operations & Technology to own the platforms, systems, and processes powering the pre-sale funnel from first touch through qualified pipeline. This role sits on the Business Operations team and partners daily with two distinct marketing organizations: a traditional demand generation and content team, and an AI-focused GTM team running signal-based outreach and automated engagement workflows.
You will be the most platform-fluent person in the room on the marketing stack—expected to go hands-on, troubleshoot without a ticket, and build without a consultant. Key responsibilities include:
**Marketing Automation Platform**: Own program architecture, lead lifecycle and scoring models, database health, segmentation, and Salesforce integration. You'll administer a MAP (Marketo, HubSpot, etc.) at depth and optimize without outside help.
**Sales Engagement & Enablement Tools**: Administer and optimize sales engagement platforms (Gong Engage, Outreach, etc.) for pre-sale sequences, ensuring proper configuration, high adoption, and clean data flow back to Salesforce.
**Meeting & Conversion Routing**: Own meeting platforms from form submission through booked meeting—routing logic, SLA enforcement, rep assignment rules, and CRM activity logging. Ensure no lead falls through gaps and every conversion event is captured.
**AI-Native & Emerging GTM Technology**: Lead operationalization of AI-driven GTM tooling including conversational marketing (Qualified), signal-based enrichment (Clay), and emerging tools. Stand up MVPs, run tests, and scale what works.
**Website & Lead Capture Infrastructure**: Partner on form strategy, lead capture tooling, and the handoff from web behavior to CRM. Ensure no signal is lost between website and funnel.
**Funnel Reporting & Campaign Analytics**: Build and maintain in-platform reporting across Marketo and Salesforce giving marketing leadership visibility into campaign performance, funnel conversion, lead quality, and attribution.
**CRM Partnership**: Work closely with the Salesforce Architecture team on pre-sale funnel matters—lead and contact object health, campaign member data, lead-to-opportunity conversion logic, and CRM reporting.
Required: 8+ years in marketing operations, revenue operations, or related function at B2B SaaS company, with 2+ years in senior IC or leadership role. Expert-level MAP administration required. Hands-on experience with sales engagement platforms and meeting routing tools (ChiliPiper or equivalent). Fluent in Salesforce from a marketing operations perspective.
