Figma is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the go-to-market strategy for Figma Weave, a new AI-native creative platform that bridges generative AI capabilities with human creativity for professional designers and creatives. This is a high-impact leadership role with significant autonomy and scope.
You will own marketing end-to-end for Weave, defining the brand narrative and positioning in the fast-moving generative media space. Key responsibilities include: establishing the vision and story for Weave as the leading AI-native creative tool; building brand awareness and cultural relevance among creative professionals; constructing and operating the full-funnel growth engine from awareness through revenue; hiring and leading a small, senior marketing team while leveraging Figma's broader resources and channels; setting and executing marketing strategy with speed and rigor; partnering cross-functionally with product, sales, and design; and managing significant marketing budgets with disciplined ROI accountability.
You'll operate with startup-level autonomy while backed by Figma's scale, distribution, and talent. The role requires both strategic vision-setting and hands-on execution—you'll personally ship work while building the team and systems around you.
Ideal candidates bring executive marketing leadership experience from high-growth software, SaaS, or consumer-tech companies. You should combine strategic storytelling and creative instincts with rigorous data discipline and performance accountability. Demonstrated success building brand awareness and driving full-funnel growth, managing substantial budgets with proven ROI, and operating in fast-moving, category-defining markets is essential. Passion for design, creativity, and AI's frontier is a plus.
The role is based in Figma's NYC hub but offers remote flexibility.
