Motive is a SaaS platform that empowers physical operations teams—safety, operations, and finance—to manage drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet spend in a single system. The company serves nearly 100,000 customers across transportation, logistics, construction, energy, field service, manufacturing, agriculture, food & beverage, retail, and public sector. As Director of International Marketing, you will lead Motive's market expansion strategy and execution across Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Canada, while evaluating and driving expansion into LATAM, the EU, and beyond. You own the complete go-to-market roadmap for these regions: from opportunity sizing and entry strategy through localized demand generation, sales enablement, and long-term growth. This is a builder's role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution. You will present expansion strategy to the executive team, conduct discovery calls, draft localized collateral, and build processes from scratch. You'll define market entry and scaling plans, including prioritization, localization requirements, and investment cases. You'll build and lead a small team of regional marketers and agency partners, set operating cadence across Field Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, Communications, and Product Marketing, and establish strategic partnerships that accelerate credibility and pipeline. Key responsibilities include: owning go-to-market strategy and P&L-adjacent growth targets; conducting market research and competitive analysis; managing messaging and positioning adaptation for each market; defining success metrics and reporting frameworks; running test-and-learn programs; managing budget allocation; building repeatable playbooks for future expansion; and representing new markets strategy in leadership and board discussions. You'll partner directly with regional and global Sales and Marketing leadership on pipeline coverage models, account targeting, and territory strategy. Success requires strong executive presence, the ability to build and lead cross-functional and in-market teams, comfort with ambiguity, bias toward action, and willingness to operate without an existing playbook.
