Motive is seeking a Director of International Marketing to lead strategy, launch, and scaling of the company's presence across Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Canada, while evaluating expansion into LATAM, the EU, and beyond. The role owns the complete go-to-market roadmap for these markets: from opportunity sizing and entry strategy through localized demand generation, sales enablement, and long-term growth.
You will operate as both strategic owner and hands-on leader, building teams, partnerships, and playbooks to establish Motive as a category leader in each region. This is a builder's role requiring startup mentality—comfort with ambiguity, bias toward action, and willingness to execute across strategy, discovery, collateral development, and process design. There is no existing playbook; you will write it.
Key responsibilities include: owning go-to-market strategy and P&L-adjacent growth targets; defining market entry and scaling plans with prioritization and investment cases; building and leading a small team of regional marketers and/or agency partners; setting operating cadence for Field Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation, Communications, and Product Marketing; conducting market research and competitive analysis; establishing strategic partnerships; partnering with regional and global Sales leadership on pipeline coverage and territory strategy; adapting messaging and positioning for each market while maintaining brand consistency; defining success metrics and reporting frameworks; running test-and-learn programs; managing budget allocation; building repeatable, scalable playbooks for future expansion; and representing new markets strategy in leadership and board-level discussions.
