Twitch is seeking a Director, Head of Creative to shape and scale the company's global creative strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead a high-performing creative team to deliver compelling, community-focused brand experiences across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and mentor a high-performing creative team, fostering psychological safety, inclusivity, and continuous feedback
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align business objectives with long-term creative vision
- Maintain global visual and verbal brand standards across all markets to ensure consistency
- Direct external agency partners to deliver creative excellence under tight timelines
- Champion creative initiatives to senior stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
- Stay current with industry trends and technology to elevate the brand and inspire breakthrough work
- Optimize creative operations through scalable, AI-assisted processes
You will work in a collaborative environment focused on empowering live communities. The role offers flexibility to work from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Seattle, or New York.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in creative direction, marketing, or advertising leadership, with proven success managing teams of managers
- Ability to design and execute team structures and strategies that navigate ambiguity and meet business objectives
- Exceptional communication skills to synthesize and present complex creative concepts to executive audiences
- Proven track record of managing global brand standards and high-value external agency relationships
- Data-driven mindset with experience using performance insights and market trends to inform creative decisions
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio or case studies demonstrating strategic creative leadership, brand building, and campaign impact (required)
- Bonus: Experience building creative strategies where the user/creator voice is the primary brand asset, balancing corporate standards with community authenticity
