DeepL is seeking a Director of Global Field & Partner Marketing to lead two integrated functions: a global field and events programme and a partner marketing capability that activates DeepL's growing ecosystem. You will own strategy and execution across owned events, third-party conference activations, executive engagement formats, and digital programmes—driving net new pipeline, deal acceleration, and adoption revenue across mid-market and enterprise segments. You will lead a distributed team of regional field marketers and partner marketers across EMEA, APJ, and North America, unifying them under a single commercial strategy directly accountable to pipeline creation and revenue outcomes. This role reports to the VP of Demand Generation and sits at the heart of DeepL's go-to-market motion. Key responsibilities include: defining and managing global field marketing strategy with rigorous ROI allocation; scaling DeepL's flagship owned event portfolio across new cities and regions; building executive engagement capabilities to access senior decision-makers in priority accounts; establishing measurement frameworks covering pipeline sourced, influenced, speed-to-lead, and closed-won attribution; leading partner marketing function with co-marketing strategies across channel, technology, GSI, ISV, and integration partners; developing scalable co-marketing frameworks including joint events, partner-led demand generation, and marketplace activations; owning partner-attached pipeline targets and ARR contribution; developing partner-specific messaging and campaign frameworks in collaboration with Partnerships, Sales, and Product Marketing teams; managing the global partner marketing calendar with clear accountability for joint pipeline targets and co-investment frameworks; and evolving the partner marketing operating model to support emerging opportunities with hyperscalers and developer communities. You will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing globally distributed team, fostering a culture of commercial accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement. You will serve as a key marketing partner to Sales, SDR, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Partnerships leadership, ensuring field and partner activity align directly to pipeline targets, territory plans, and revenue objectives.
