This Director role reports to the VP of Brand Marketing and Communications and owns the global brand and experiential marketing strategy. You will develop and execute comprehensive brand experience strategies aligned with business goals, leading major initiatives such as industry tentpoles (CES, Cannes, Advertising Week), proprietary events, and brand activations. You'll serve as the primary liaison between the brand team and executive leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Key responsibilities include creating brand experience strategies, leading flagship industry events and activations from concept through post-event reporting, developing creative briefs in collaboration with internal teams and agencies, managing global budgets (forecasting, tracking, vendor negotiation), measuring ROI and demonstrating business impact, and managing 1–3 direct reports or cross-functional project teams.
You'll work closely with executive leadership, sales, product, PR, and regional marketing teams in a fast-paced environment where leaders wear multiple hats. The role demands hands-on execution of live activations, trade show presence, pop-ups, and executive events, with proven ability to bridge brand strategy with commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years of progressive experience in brand marketing, event production, or experiential marketing within AdTech, SaaS, media, or agency settings. You should have a proven track record managing 2–3 flagship events annually, designing and executing live activations, managing large budgets with line-item forecasting, negotiating with vendors and production houses, and hiring/managing external agencies and talent. Portfolio or case studies demonstrating measurable business outcomes from past campaigns are essential.
