Salary: USD 227,100 - 340,700 / annual
Harvey is an AI-powered platform transforming legal and professional services. As Director of Global Benefits, you'll own the company's benefits and leave-of-absence strategy end-to-end as Harvey scales across 10+ countries and accelerates headcount growth.
You'll lead a growing global benefits team and serve as a player-coach, balancing strategic plan design with hands-on execution. Key responsibilities include: defining Harvey's global benefits philosophy and ensuring "global consistency, local relevance" across markets; designing and redesigning health, welfare, and leave programs across the US and international footprint; managing the annual benefits cycle (renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, new-country launches); overseeing vendor and broker relationships globally, including RFPs and negotiations; ensuring compliance with local regulations in each market; managing the benefits budget and leveraging data to optimize spend and employee sentiment; and setting the standard for service delivery so employees experience benefits as a tangible, supportive part of working at Harvey.
You'll report to the Head of Total Rewards and partner closely with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Recruiting. The role requires deep US benefits expertise (health/welfare, 401(k), leave, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA) and real international experience designing or administering benefits in EMEA and/or APAC. You're strategic and hands-on—comfortable presenting plan recommendations to executives and solving technical eligibility issues. You have 10+ years in benefits with at least 3 years leading a team, ideally in high-growth tech. You're a builder energized by ambiguity, financially fluent, an exceptional communicator, and actively using AI tools to streamline benefits work.
