IonQ, Inc. (NYSE: IONQ) is the world's leading quantum computing platform and merchant supplier, delivering integrated quantum solutions across computing, networking, sensing, and security. You will lead the creative and visual design work behind IonQ's financial narrative, including quarterly investor presentations, financial conferences, investor days, and Board materials. You will partner closely with the CFO, Head of Investor Relations, the centralized Brand team, and technical leaders to translate complex information into intuitive and persuasive visual stories for sophisticated financial audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
**Keynote storytelling and design**: Craft story-driven, best-in-class presentations for the CFO and senior executives—from the boardroom to the conference stage—for audiences that are both financially and technically sophisticated.
**Executive-level collaboration**: Partner closely with the CFO, Head of Investor Relations, and the centralized Brand team. Present to and collaborate with senior executives at the highest level. Navigate feedback with grace, work comfortably with ambiguity, and iterate quickly.
**Data visualization**: Translate complex financial data and technical concepts into clean, compelling slides. Create charts that make the point without decoration and layouts that let numbers do the work. Help investors and analysts understand technical roadmaps, performance metrics, and financials at a glance.
**Technology and financial storytelling**: Craft narratives connecting IonQ's technology milestones to investor and financial analyst messaging. Grasp unfamiliar technical content quickly and distill it into meaningful, consumable visuals.
**Investor day and event design**: Create cohesive experiences across all touchpoints of investor events—presentation content, invitations, emails, web and IR portal assets, signage, and on-site materials—all meeting brand standards.
**Design operations and brand standards**: Build and maintain templates, chart libraries, and systems that enable non-designers on the IR and Finance teams to produce on-brand materials independently.
**AI-forward practice**: Be curious and proactive about using AI for design work—prompting, efficiency, and learning as tools evolve, while maintaining consistently high quality.
