Stream is a fintech platform founded to provide fair financial tools to everyday workers. Offered through major employers like Dollar General, Hilton, Burger King, and Crate & Barrel, the platform helps over three million people earn, learn, save, spend, and borrow through a single smartphone app. The company is VC-backed, growing at scale, and operates on a social charter ensuring every product measurably improves financial wellbeing. You will own event marketing strategy and execution for Stream's US operations, reporting to the VP of Marketing. This is a strategic leadership role managing a full event portfolio spanning field events, a flagship US conference, third-party conferences, and sponsorships—roughly one event every other week as the program scales. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing the US event strategy and calendar; deciding where Stream participates across owned, third-party, and partner events; designing and leading the flagship conference from vision through on-site execution; building a field event motion with connected campaigns and co-branded partner activations; aligning events to sales pipeline and ABM priorities; defining success metrics tied to pipeline contribution, engagement, and ROI; and leading the events team including direct management of a US field event manager. You'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, partnering closely with sales, partnerships, and the broader marketing team. The role requires strong commercial acumen to tie events to revenue impact, fluency in demand generation and B2B sales cycles, and the ability to elevate experience design and set a creative bar. Required qualifications: 10+ years in event or experiential marketing at a strategic, function-owning level; people leadership experience with direct report management; a strong portfolio of event work; in-house technology company experience with demand generation and B2B sales understanding; track record owning flagship events end-to-end; strong field and third-party event experience; commercial acumen linking events to pipeline and revenue; executive presence and stakeholder influence; comfort with ambiguity and high-visibility moments; fluency in HubSpot and modern event platforms; willingness to travel approximately 30%.
