As Director of Enablement - Skills and Leadership Excellence, you will own the execution of global sales skilling programs for Samsara's sales managers and individual contributor sellers. This role leads a team responsible for building and running programs centered on sales methodology, sales process, and messaging frameworks. You will drive consistency and rigor across the go-to-market organization while partnering closely with Field Activation & Execution teams to ensure global programs reflect real business needs.
Key responsibilities include: owning execution of global sales skilling programs; driving sales methodology, process, and messaging frameworks; leading, coaching, and developing your team with clear goals and growth plans; partnering with field teams to ensure programs are responsive to field needs; bringing deep expertise in value-based selling, MEDDPICC, Command of Message, storytelling, and manager coaching models; leveraging AI tools to accelerate program development and drive measurable business impact; and championing Samsara's operating principles as enablement scales globally.
You bring 10+ years of professional experience including 7+ years in quota-carrying sales roles. You have demonstrated expertise in value-based sales processes, MEDDPICC, Command of Message, storytelling, and manager coaching models. You have a track record of building and leading teams, developing people into stronger performers and future leaders. You are experienced using AI tools to drive business impact in sales or enablement contexts, possess strong cross-functional partnership skills, and communicate effectively with senior sales leaders.
Ideal candidates have experience building sales methodology or process programs at high-growth, multi-segment SaaS companies; direct experience managing enablement program managers, facilitators, or instructional designers; and a data-driven approach to measuring program adoption and business impact.
