Hims & Hers, a leading public health and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Director of Creative Strategy to drive their performance marketing engine. You'll own creative strategy across paid social channels (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms), translating customer insights and performance data into high-impact creative concepts that help millions discover and engage with Hims products.
In this role, you'll lead a dedicated creative pod and partner closely with editors, producers, media buyers, and creative leaders to develop, test, and scale winning creative. You'll establish creative strategy frameworks grounded in customer insight and measurable success criteria, then build systems that allow winning ideas to move quickly across categories and campaigns.
Key responsibilities include: owning creative strategy for the Hims brand across performance channels; using performance data and customer insights to develop creative hypotheses, concepts, and production briefs; leading multidisciplinary creative teams; creating fast feedback loops between Creative, Growth, and Media Buying; partnering with Product, Clinical, Legal, and Brand teams to ensure regulatory compliance; and capturing/scaling winning creative frameworks across products and markets.
You'll need 8+ years in creative strategy, content strategy, or performance creative—ideally in-house at a high-growth ecommerce or DTC brand with team leadership experience. A strong portfolio of performance creative that has won at scale on paid social is essential. You must have deep expertise in Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and platform-specific best practices; strong data fluency to identify actionable patterns in ad performance; experience managing multidisciplinary creative teams; and exceptional business acumen connecting creative decisions to customer behavior and long-term brand growth.
Bonus qualifications include experience in telehealth, healthcare, weight loss, or regulated categories; standing up in-house creative teams; adapting creative across international markets; and familiarity with UGC and creator-driven production models.
