Vercel is hiring a Director of Commercial Sales for EMEA (excluding DACH) to lead and scale the Commercial sales team across the region. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on converting developer adoption into contracted, expanding revenue with mid-market and growth-stage tech companies.
You will own the full EMEA Commercial sales motion end-to-end: hiring and developing a team of Commercial Account Executives, driving pipeline efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and revenue attainment. You'll build a repeatable, scalable sales engine that balances high-velocity outbound activity with sharp qualification and consistent execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning EMEA Commercial revenue targets, pipeline, and forecasting across mid-market and growth segments
- Hiring, onboarding, and developing Commercial AEs with a focus on territory planning, prospecting discipline, and technical selling
- Driving pipeline generation and conversion in partnership with Marketing and SDR leadership
- Developing Commercial-specific messaging and positioning for engineering leaders and CTOs at scaling companies
- Building scalable processes, playbooks, and onboarding frameworks for rapid team ramp and consistent performance
- Coaching AEs on deal management, account expansion, and selling to technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Legal on smooth handoffs and retention
- Representing Vercel at EMEA industry events and developer conferences
You'll be based in London and work closely with Marketing, SDR leadership, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success. The role includes in-office anchor days (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) if within commuting distance of London office; otherwise fully remote.
