Tailscale is seeking a Director of APAC Go-to-Market to build and lead the company's commercial business across Asia Pacific, based remotely from Singapore. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish Tailscale's regional presence from the ground up.
You will own all aspects of APAC go-to-market strategy and execution, including pipeline creation, revenue targets, market selection, customer segmentation, and route-to-market decisions. The role requires translating Tailscale's global strategy into a focused regional plan that accounts for APAC-specific dynamics, competitive landscape, and buying behaviors.
Key responsibilities include: establishing and achieving regional revenue targets with strong forecasting discipline; building and leading a high-performing regional GTM team (Sales Development, Account Executives, Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Partner Marketing); personally engaging with strategic customers and partners; representing Tailscale at industry events and within the broader APAC technology ecosystem; and serving as the internal voice of APAC, bringing market insights to product, packaging, marketing, and partnership decisions.
You will report directly to Tailscale's President and have significant autonomy in determining regional strategy and team structure. The role is hands-on—you'll spend considerable time with customers and partners, help shape and close major opportunities, and develop deep market intelligence.
