Front is seeking a Director of Account Management to lead and scale its Account Management team. This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on driving customer expansion, renewals, and account health across a portfolio of high-value customers at a B2B SaaS company serving 9,000+ enterprises including Uber Freight, Navan, and Stripe.
You will own the development and leadership of a high-performing Account Management team, working to establish team fundamentals including KPIs, roles, responsibilities, and success metrics in partnership with the CRO and VP of Sales. The role involves coaching Account Managers to identify and execute customer expansion opportunities, managing enterprise-level renewals and upsells, and handling customer escalations. You'll help structure the Existing Business team as it introduces Account Teams pairing Account Managers with Customer Success Managers.
Key responsibilities include developing talent and creating a culture of accountability and growth, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to ensure seamless customer experiences, and taking accountability for renewal rates, expansion revenue, customer satisfaction, and commercial success across your team.
Required qualifications: 4-6 years leading Account Management, Sales, or Renewals teams in SaaS; proven experience developing AM functions from the ground up; clear experience with enterprise renewal negotiation, upselling, cross-selling, and escalation management; strong coaching and people leadership skills; strategic and execution-oriented mindset; data-driven decision-making; and excellent cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-have experience includes familiarity with support or CX platforms, usage-based or product-led growth models, and background with mid-market and enterprise customers.
