Campus is hiring a Digital Media Manager to own SEO, AEO, and paid digital marketing strategy and execution. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of organic search and paid campaigns, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Performance & Lifecycle Marketing.
You'll split your time between two core areas: paid media (50%) and SEO/AEO (50%). On the paid side, you'll manage and optimize Meta and Google Ads campaigns for specific enrollment-driven programs, interpret campaign performance data, and coordinate with lifecycle and social teams to hit conversion and application goals. You'll inherit existing campaigns and work to identify optimization opportunities across the funnel.
On the organic side, you'll own the full SEO and AEO strategy—from keyword research and content planning to technical SEO priorities and on-page optimization. You'll create content yourself (blog posts, landing pages, program pages) and coordinate contributions from faculty, staff, and students. You'll build and manage SEO reporting in SEMrush, translate analytics into business decisions, work with product and engineering on technical improvements (Core Web Vitals, schema, crawl coverage), and drive link building through outreach.
The role requires hands-on execution: you'll write content, pull reports, build campaigns, and coordinate across teams. You're expected to use AI tools heavily while maintaining quality. The pace is fast and the work is real.
You bring 3+ years of SEO experience in a fast-paced or startup environment, with at least one year in a strategic capacity (setting direction, not just executing tasks). You have hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns directly in the platforms. You're strong with GA4 and Google Search Console—you can set up tracking, build reports, and interpret data. You're proficient in SEMrush or comparable SEO platforms. You're a strong writer who can produce clear, on-brand content yourself. Nice-to-haves include experience in consumer-facing, enrollment-driven, or SaaS environments; familiarity with AEO and structured content for AI search; and experience coordinating content contributors across teams.
