Cresta is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to be the technical voice of its AI agent platform within the developer and partner community. This is a hands-on role blending software engineering, content creation, and community building.
You will teach developers and partners how to build, test, and deploy real AI agents on Cresta through video content, blog posts, tutorials, and workshops. You'll create and maintain sample applications, code snippets, and reference integrations that demonstrate best practices for building, testing, and evaluating agents. The role requires deep technical capability—not just demo narration—given Cresta's enterprise-heavy platform with complex integrations and rigorous evaluation requirements.
Key responsibilities include: producing technical content (blog posts, tutorials, long- and short-form video); building and maintaining sample apps and open-source tooling; planning and running developer workshops (virtual and in-person); representing Cresta at conferences and partner events with talks and demos; collecting developer feedback and routing actionable insights to Product and Engineering; cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Marketing; improving onboarding and first-build experience; and staying hands-on with agent building, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, RAG, and evaluation.
You'll need 3+ years as a software engineer, ML engineer, or developer advocate with strong technical credibility and hands-on coding ability. Practical experience building and testing AI agents (LLMs, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, function calling, RAG) is essential. Proficiency in Python and/or Golang/TypeScript is required, with ability to read and write real integration code (APIs, webhooks, CRMs). A track record of developer content (blog posts, tutorials, videos) that engineers have actually used is important, along with public speaking or workshop-facilitation experience at meetups, conferences, or customer/partner events.
