Adyen is a global payments and financial technology platform serving enterprises like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Developer Relations team is responsible for shaping how developers and AI agents integrate with Adyen's payment platform.
In this Senior Developer Relations Engineer role, you will be a core member of a small, senior, high-ownership team driving developer experience and AI agent integration strategy. Your primary responsibilities include:
**Building Developer & Agent-Ready Content**: Create and maintain high-quality integration examples, code snippets, and documentation across multiple programming languages. The focus is on quality, correctness, and discoverability rather than volume. You'll ensure content remains current and accurate, as stale documentation misleads both human developers and AI agents.
**Making Adyen Agent-Ready**: Help ensure Adyen's APIs, documentation, and developer surfaces are legible and reliable for AI agents and AI-assisted workflows. As AI agents increasingly discover, evaluate, and integrate with platforms autonomously, this is a critical strategic initiative.
**Developer Advocacy**: Identify friction points in the developer experience and drive cross-functional improvements with product and engineering teams. Surface evidence-based developer pain points and champion fixes across the organization.
**Community Engagement**: Represent Adyen at developer events, conferences, and online forums. Build relationships with the developer community and gather feedback on platform usability.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with product, engineering, and other teams to ensure APIs and tools are intuitive, reliable, and meet the evolving needs of both human developers and AI systems.
This is a high-impact role where strong hires genuinely shape the function. You'll work on one of the industry's most consequential shifts: preparing payment infrastructure for an AI-agent-driven future.
