UiPath is seeking a Developer Relations Advocate to establish and grow the company's credibility within India's professional developer ecosystems. This is an externally-facing DevRel role focused on earning developer mindshare through authentic engagement, technical credibility, and a help-first approach. Key responsibilities include: Developer Community Engagement: Deliver 6+ earned talks or workshops annually at high-signal community events and meetups across India's major tech hubs. Build and maintain relationships across Python, JavaScript, AI, and integration-focused communities. Participate authentically in developer ecosystems including GitHub, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and local meetup circuits. Partner with the UiPath Community India team to engage MVPs and professional developers. Travel approximately 25–35% within India with occasional participation in global DevRel team events. Code-First Developer Enablement: Publish 2+ code-first developer assets monthly (runnable repos, quick starts, templates, technical walkthroughs). Create concise technical demos that make complex capabilities approachable. Collaborate with production teams (technical writers, video editors) to scale content into high-quality assets. Partner with Product and Community teams to improve developer documentation. Contribute to UiPath's annual DevCon event. Run rapid content experiments to identify formats and channels that drive activation at scale. Technical Thought Leadership: Demonstrate practical patterns for building, orchestrating, and governing AI-powered automations and agents. Translate platform capabilities into credible, production-oriented examples. Articulate how enterprise requirements (security, auditability, reliability) impact architecture decisions. Internal Advocacy: Champion the India developer perspective internally. Surface ecosystem trends, competitive signals, developer friction points, and content formats gaining traction. Influence product direction through hands-on experimentation and field insight. Required qualifications: 4–6+ years in Developer Relations, software development, developer advocacy, or technical community leadership. Experience representing a developer platform, API, SDK, cloud, AI, or infrastructure product externally. Strong hands-on proficiency in Python or JavaScript. Hands-on experience building or contributing to production-grade software systems, integrations, or distributed architectures. Demonstrated public technical presence in India's developer ecosystem (conference talks, workshops, blog posts, GitHub repos, OSS contributions, community leadership). Genuine fluency in how Indian developer communities operate. Strong instincts for content and channels that resonate at scale. Deep developer empathy and help-first mindset. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
