Blocks.ai, a new initiative by PubNub (a 15+ year-old real-time infrastructure company), is hiring a Developer Marketing Manager to drive awareness and adoption of Blocks Network—a secure network for the Internet of Agents. The role combines early-stage product momentum with PubNub's proven global infrastructure and engineering expertise. Blocks Network solves a critical problem for AI agent developers: making agents reachable, discoverable, and commercially viable without requiring new infrastructure. Agents connect via a single outbound connection, and Blocks handles routing, discovery, presence, streaming, security, and economics—all built on PubNub's trusted real-time platform. You will own developer marketing programs across the full funnel: awareness, acquisition, activation, and engagement. Key responsibilities include developing positioning and messaging for AI developers, building authentic presence in developer communities (Discord, GitHub, forums, events), creating and distributing technical content (tutorials, demos, sample projects), planning campaigns across documentation, newsletters, and partnerships, and optimizing the developer journey from discovery to first successful build using data and feedback. Success is measured by qualified developer acquisition, activation rates, community engagement, retention, and advocacy metrics. You'll work closely with Product, Growth, Engineering, and a dedicated Developer Relations partner. You bring hands-on experience in developer marketing, technical marketing, or developer relations. You have strong technical fluency with APIs, SDKs, and AI development workflows—enough to communicate credibly in developer communities and understand code examples. You've shipped technical content or campaigns that moved developers from awareness to hands-on use, and you use quantitative analytics and experimentation to drive growth. You're community-minded, collaborative, and comfortable across cross-functional teams. Bonus: familiarity with AI application development, agents, LLM tooling, or adjacent ecosystems, plus ability to use AI-assisted tools to prototype demos and technical assets.
