Greptile is an AI-powered code review platform that autonomously validates code changes and reviews pull requests in GitHub. The company processes 5 billion lines of code monthly for 22,000+ customers and has scaled to eight-figure ARR with backing from Benchmark, Y Combinator, and other top investors. As Developer Advocate, you'll be the public voice for Greptile in the AI developer ecosystem. This is a hybrid role combining community building, technical content creation, and product evangelism. Key responsibilities include: • Establish thought leadership in AI coding by tracking industry trends, publishing commentary, and leading signature projects like the State of AI Coding Report. • Evangelize Greptile's capabilities by translating product features into clear messaging, code examples, demos, and narratives that resonate with developers. • Own product launches and customer communication, including writing announcements, walkthroughs, and release notes while driving feature adoption. • Maintain and improve documentation, onboarding flows, quickstarts, and examples to reduce friction for new users. • Drive adoption in open source communities and high-signal teams by identifying key repositories and contributors, facilitating adoption, answering technical questions, and gathering feedback. You should have strong writing and speaking skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply. Technical depth is essential—you'll write code examples, debug issues, and collaborate closely with engineers. Familiarity with developer platforms (GitHub, Twitter, Hacker News) and their communities is important. Experience in open source, developer tooling, or community work is a plus. This role appeals to someone who consumes AI developer content voraciously and wants to shape the conversation publicly. You care about engineering craft and want to raise standards for AI-assisted code review. You thrive on launches, fast iteration, and direct user engagement. You're equally comfortable building and communicating.
