Salary: USD 190,000 - 252,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is building Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Ashville, Ohio, dedicated to producing autonomous systems and weapons at unprecedented scale and speed. The Connected Warfare team will establish the manufacturing standard for this facility, with initial training at Anduril's Costa Mesa, CA headquarters over three months before returning to Ohio. As Deputy Head of Production for Connected Warfare, you will own all production outcomes for the Connected Warfare product line and drive the strategic development and execution of manufacturing operations. You will serve as both a strategic architect and hands-on executor, leading cross-functional teams to meet aggressive timelines while delivering the highest quality products. Key responsibilities include: • Production Ownership & Strategy: Own all production outcomes including ramp plans, headcount decisions, and standing up new manufacturing lines. Develop and execute long-term strategy to rapidly scale production volumes to full-rate production. • Leadership & Team Management: Lead large cross-functional teams spanning Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering. Drive accountability to deadlines and goals through strong leadership and consistent on-site presence. • Operational Excellence: Drive processes and systems throughout the product development lifecycle to mature products to full-rate production. Establish and manage KPIs for financial performance, quality, and on-time delivery. • Quality & Compliance: Maintain accountability to AS9100D guidelines and drive a "quality-first" culture across all manufacturing operations. • Process & Technology Advancement: Advise on and oversee implementation of digital technologies (PLM, ERP, custom MES and QMS systems) that enable efficient scaling while meeting customer requirements. Shape corporate tools to support aerospace production needs. Requirements: • 8+ years of proven experience overseeing production and test of complex electromechanical products • Strong leadership experience managing large (100+ person) manufacturing teams and directing cross-functional teams across planning, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, quality, and production • Strong background in quality assurance with track record of driving "quality-first" culture and accountability to standards like AS9100D • Proven success operating in both low-rate prototype and high-rate manufacturing environments with demonstrated ability to scale production • High ownership and ability to effectively manage multiple large projects and priorities in parallel at rapid pace • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance • Ability to work onsite five days a week at Ashville, OH campus Preferred Qualifications: • Success scaling production operations in high-complexity manufacturing environments • Deep experience with aerospace and robotics supply chains • Demonstrated experience implementing and leveraging digital manufacturing technologies (PLM, ERP, MES, QMS) to drive efficiency and scale
