Serval is an AI-native automation platform that builds intelligent agents to transform enterprise operations. Founded in early 2024 and backed by Sequoia Capital, Redpoint Ventures, and others, Serval is trusted by companies like Fox, Notion, Perplexity, Vercel, and Brex to automate high-volume operational work across IT, HR, Finance, Security, Legal, and Engineering.
As a Deployment Strategist on the Agent Deployment team, you'll be the primary technical relationship and AI advisor for Serval's customers. You'll own customer engagements from pilot through production launch, designing and delivering deployments that fit each customer's workflows and scale adoption of the platform.
Key responsibilities include: building AI agents on Serval's platform that drive real value for customers; advising customers on AI strategy and adoption; designing and executing migration plans that minimize disruption; and partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to turn field learnings into repeatable processes.
You'll work with execution velocity across multiple customer engagements simultaneously, thriving in ambiguity while maintaining strong technical depth and product sense. Your work directly shapes Serval's product roadmap—workflows and features you build in the field become core product capabilities.
Required: CS degree or equivalent hands-on experience; 5+ years in product, engineering, consulting, or founder roles; strong communication and relationship management skills; hands-on technical ability to read and troubleshoot production code, analyze code paths and database state, and work with APIs, REST, IAM, and SQL. Nice-to-have: early-stage startup experience, production code writing, enterprise customer or complex technical sales background, and familiarity with IT, security, service management, or workflow automation.
