Cognition AI is building Devin, the first AI software engineer, and is seeking a Deployed Engineer for the LATAM region based in Mexico City. This is a customer-facing technical role that bridges engineering and sales, combining hands-on technical work with customer partnership and rapid execution.
You will own all technical aspects of the customer lifecycle—from initial deployment through activation and adoption. You'll work directly with engineering teams to understand their workflows, identify high-impact use cases for Devin, and deploy the platform into real production environments. Key responsibilities include leading demos and pilots, supporting integrations, driving product adoption, and building deep relationships with customers' technical teams.
The role demands proactive ownership: you'll exercise judgment calls independently, stay ahead of potential blockers, and switch context frequently across a broad range of clients. You'll listen closely to customer feedback, implement requested features yourself when appropriate, and advocate for customer needs with the internal product and engineering teams. You're expected to serve as a "customer oracle," using your product instincts to help inform the roadmap.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering foundation, demonstrated track record of exceptional performance, and self-directed work habits. You must be fluent or native in Spanish to serve the LATAM market effectively. Travel of 25–50% is required.
