As a Demo Engineer at Tanium, you will build and maintain the demo infrastructure, environments, and tooling that showcase the company's endpoint management, security, IT operations, and risk/compliance capabilities. This role bridges technology and storytelling, creating reusable, modular demo environments that can be rapidly customized by industry, use case, and buyer persona while maintaining production-grade reliability for high-stakes customer-facing moments.
You will develop scalable demo environments covering endpoint management, security, IT operations, and analytics workflows. Your work includes building modular demo frameworks that can be quickly customized for different industries and buyer personas, and ensuring demo environments remain stable and production-ready at all times.
On the technical enablement side, you'll build integrations, automations, and tooling such as API connectors, scripted workflows, and custom applications to expand demo capabilities. You'll operationalize new product releases into demo-ready assets so the sales field can showcase the latest capabilities with confidence. You'll also explore and apply modern tooling, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve demo realism, efficiency, and impact.
Cross-functionally, you'll partner with Solution Engineering and Sales to support strategic deals by tailoring demos and POCs to specific customer needs. You'll work with Enablement to build scalable demo assets, narratives, and technical training materials for go-to-market teams. You'll capture feedback from the field and translate it into improvements to demo environments and workflows. You'll also collaborate with Product and Engineering to flag technical gaps and pre-sales learnings that should inform the product roadmap, and work with IT Engineering on security, infrastructure, hosting, and operational support.
