Bobyard is a Series A AI-powered construction tech company backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear. The company automates takeoffs and estimates for contractors, reducing takeoff time by 50–90% and enabling them to bid on more jobs. Construction is a trillion-dollar industry still heavily reliant on manual work, and Bobyard is scaling rapidly to transform how contractors operate. You'll own the marketing-sourced pipeline number as the Demand Generation Manager, responsible for turning multiple marketing channels into a coordinated, revenue-driving machine. Currently, Bobyard's marketing operates across paid, content, social, and events, but these efforts function independently rather than as an integrated system. Your role is to unify these channels around a single pipeline dollar target that you'll own and report on weekly. Key responsibilities include: owning the marketing-sourced pipeline metric and reporting weekly against targets; planning and executing integrated campaigns across paid, content, and events by setting audience, goals, and channel mix for each cycle; briefing content, paid, and events teams to ensure campaigns are planned collaboratively rather than competing for resources; tracking MQL-to-SQO conversion and working with Sales to maintain tight speed-to-lead on high-intent prospects; partnering with the GTM engineer on lead routing and attribution accuracy; defining nurture strategy including audience segmentation, lifecycle stages, messaging, and exit criteria; and identifying and pitching new channels worth testing with data-backed business cases. You'll need 4+ years of B2B demand generation experience with a pipeline dollar number you personally owned and can articulate in detail. Strong analytical instincts are essential—you adjust budget allocation based on conversion data, not pre-planned forecasts. You have a track record of direct collaboration with Sales on lead handoff, routing, and conversion metrics. You're comfortable partnering with channel leads and marketing operations/automation teams, and you have real experience running multi-channel campaigns. Nice-to-have qualifications include B2B SaaS experience selling into non-technical or trades-adjacent buyers, experience at founder-led or early-stage companies where you built playbooks from scratch, and familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms. The role is hybrid in San Francisco (101 2nd Street). Compensation includes $115K–$135K base salary plus variable compensation tied to quarterly pipeline targets and meaningful early-stage equity with a 4-year vest and 1-year cliff.
