Linear is seeking a Demand Generation Lead to own the strategy and execution of how future customers discover and first experience the platform. As the first demand generation hire, you'll build awareness and pipeline across web, search, and paid media, with a particular focus on larger enterprise companies.
You'll work closely with Linear's in-house design team (Magic) to create web pages and ad creative, own paid media strategy end-to-end including budget allocation and account-based campaigns for enterprise accounts in partnership with sales, and drive search visibility across both traditional search and AI-powered discovery. You'll define success metrics for the demand motion and actively use AI and automation tools to move faster and operate more efficiently.
Linear is a brand-forward company that prioritizes perception and craftsmanship over vanity metrics—you won't use retargeting pixels or gated content. The marketing team is intentionally small but has outsized impact. You'll have real influence on company growth and autonomy to deploy tools and practices that increase effectiveness.
The role requires 5+ years in growth or demand generation at B2B SaaS companies, with hands-on experience across web, paid media, and account-based marketing. You need genuine design sense, deep fluency with AI tooling, strong instincts around product and engineering audiences, disciplined capital allocation, and sophisticated understanding of attribution and measurement. You should be able to speak the language of developers and product teams, and balance data-driven decision-making with intuition that dashboards alone cannot capture.
Linear is remote-first with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. The company offers competitive salary and equity, 5 weeks paid vacation, 4 months paid parental leave, health coverage, meal and coffee stipends, and paid co-working space.
