Conversion is an agentic marketing automation platform for enterprise SaaS companies like Plaid, ClickHouse, Webflow, and Productboard. The platform enables growth teams to run their entire go-to-market motion—from acquisition through retention—using AI agents to automate work that legacy tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot cannot. The company has raised $30M+ from Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital, with a team based in San Francisco including talent from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft. You will own demand generation end-to-end, reporting to the VP of Marketing. This role manages the full paid program across LinkedIn, Google, and Meta, including audience building, creative direction, bidding strategy, budget allocation, and channel expansion decisions. You will own the conversion tracking stack (CAPI, in-platform measurement, and Salesforce integration), measurement across channels (exposed vs. unexposed accounts, geo and account-level holdouts, attribution modeling), and account tiering strategy in partnership with sales. Key responsibilities include: managing the creative pipeline with freelance designers and content teams; determining what content is worth producing at volume; driving demand for webinars, launches, and field programs; making channel expansion decisions (e.g., evaluating CTV viability); and building instrumentation and tests to distinguish campaigns that truly drive sales qualified opportunities from those that merely look good in dashboards. The role is challenging because Conversion's buyer—typically a MOps director or CMO at 1,000+ person SaaS companies—has long sales cycles, six-figure ACVs, and buying committees of five or more. Clean feedback loops are rare; campaigns that appear successful in-platform may produce nothing, while flat-looking channels may be the reason deals close quarters later. Success requires strong intuition, rigorous testing, and the ability to kill campaigns that look good but aren't truly driving results. You will be heavily supported by a strong creative team and designers to rotate and create new ad concepts and formats, so creative production should not be a blocker. This is a 5-days-per-week in-person role in San Francisco. REQUIREMENTS: - Hands-on experience running LinkedIn Ads and Meta at meaningful spend in B2B environments - Demonstrated ability to build and execute incrementality tests with actual control groups - Ability to wire your own tracking (not relying on others to file tickets) and comfort within CRM and MAP platforms (Salesforce and similar) - Experience working alongside sales teams and allocating budget across net-new, ABM, and mid-funnel initiatives - Clear, opinionated point of view on how B2B teams should run demand generation - Comfort being measured against channel ceiling rather than quarter-over-quarter growth STRONG PLUS: - Experience owning paid programs in long enterprise sales cycles with committee buyers - Fluency in Clay, enrichment logic, and suppression strategies - ABM experience managing target lists of a few hundred named accounts with tier-based creative - Opinions on current B2B paid advertising best practices and thought leaders - Preference for high-intensity, in-person team environments
