We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Warehouse (DWH) team. You will design, build, and maintain our corporate data warehouse using cloud technologies and industry best practices. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining data warehouse infrastructure for business users, analysts, and ML engineers
- Building and optimizing EL/ELT/ETL pipelines for data synchronization between internal and external systems
- Creating development tools for collecting and processing data into the DWH
- Implementing data governance and data quality practices
- Optimizing costs across data infrastructure
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on DWH development and maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse architectures (Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, Data Mesh)
- Expertise in data modeling (SCD forms, normal forms, star schema, data vault)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL with best practices
- System design expertise
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools: Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, GCP
Bonus skills include REST/gRPC API experience, knowledge of modern data storage systems (relational, MPP, NoSQL), and Google Cloud Platform expertise.
