In this role, you'll own the billing systems that translate patient engagement data into structured, partner-trusted billing outputs. You'll design and maintain data pipelines that ingest clinical data from internal and external sources (EHR, labs), apply codified billing logic in an auditable way, and produce reliable invoice files at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciling patient engagement data across internal and external clinical sources monthly
- Codifying billing logic in SQL (BigQuery) and developing scalable, auditable transformation workflows
- Using Python or Google Sheets scripting to automate data cleanup and recurring tasks
- Generating structured, version-controlled invoice files that meet partner requirements
- Identifying data mismatches, gaps, and edge cases, then implementing long-term fixes
- Documenting workflows for clarity, continuity, and cross-team alignment
- Collaborating with Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Product to improve upstream inputs and process design
You'll sit within the Finance team and work cross-functionally to ensure billing runs reliably as the business scales. The role requires technical fluency, systems thinking, and a builder mindset focused on clarity and repeatability.
The company operates on a hybrid schedule: Monday–Thursday in-office (Menlo Park), Fridays work-from-anywhere. Daily lunch is provided, and the team takes an hour together to eat and connect.
