Anthropic is seeking a Customer Trust Specialist to lead customer-facing security engagements that build trust and transparency for large enterprises deploying Claude for critical workloads. This is a senior individual contributor role partnering closely with Go-to-Market, Legal, Deal Desk, Product, and Security teams.
You will handle complex security negotiations, audits, and executive briefings that go beyond standard processes. Key responsibilities include: negotiating security terms with regulated enterprise customers; managing complex RFPs and security assessments; conducting onsite and remote security audits with strategic accounts; providing detailed briefings to CISOs on architecture, data handling, and model training; building the team's library of Legal-approved positions and audit runbooks; using Claude to automate questionnaire processing and evidence gathering; writing and maintaining customer-facing trust artifacts; routing control gaps to Product and Security owners; identifying patterns across engagements; and tracking engagement metrics.
You'll work independently on hard cases, turning resolutions into repeatable processes. The role requires solid security expertise across domains (engineering, GRC, compliance), hands-on customer-facing security experience (audits, questionnaires, contract terms, executive briefings), ability to hold security positions under pressure while recognizing business trade-offs, and strong written communication. You must verify all security claims internally before communicating to customers and be comfortable influencing engineering, Legal, and GRC colleagues without direct authority.
Preferred experience includes 10+ years in security with 3+ years in security leadership (ideally Head of Security at early-stage company), applied LLMs to security/GRC work, and familiarity with financial services security expectations and AI-specific trust topics.
