April is seeking a Customer Success Manager for Wealth Management to lead and manage critical partnerships with wealth management firms. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, guiding them through onboarding and implementation of April's embedded tax platform. Your responsibilities include managing partner relationships, driving execution of joint initiatives, launching new offerings, and building a best-in-class partner management model.
You'll leverage industry knowledge to craft thoughtful partnership and product strategies, navigate banks and issuers to execute deals, and coordinate with internal cross-functional teams (tax, product, engineering) on client strategy development. A key part of the role involves identifying and educating internal and external stakeholders on April's value proposition, ensuring proper deal execution, and contributing to the holistic account management strategy.
April is the only embedded, year-round tax platform built to power smarter financial decisions. The platform delivers real-time tax intelligence into partner applications, helping users understand the impact of paycheck changes, equity transactions, and income shifts. April's AI-powered tax engine ingests data directly from partner apps to deliver accurate outcomes quickly. With API-first infrastructure and seamless integrations, April helps partners deliver more value and turn taxes into a strategic competitive advantage.
This is a hybrid role based in New York City headquarters, requiring a minimum of three days per week on-site (Tuesday through Thursday). You should have experience in partner management, business development, or related roles, ideally in financial services. Exposure to tax or accounting is a plus. You'll need strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the ability to work effectively across teams with multiple dependencies. Experience in wealth management is preferred. You should be proactive, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and driven to see projects through completion.
