Recharge is the subscription platform powering over 20,000 brands globally, including quip, Dr. Squatch, and Blueland. As a Shopify premier subscription solution, Recharge helps merchants deliver seamless customer experiences that drive retention and revenue growth.
You'll join the Tier 3 Customer Success team as a Customer Success Manager, owning a book of 50–70 growth-stage merchants. This role sits at the intersection of product expertise, merchant strategy, and commercial outcomes, with direct impact on Recharge's ability to retain and grow merchants as they scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of growth-stage merchants with accountability for retention and product adoption
- Building deep understanding of each merchant's business goals, technical setup, and success metrics
- Leading regular business reviews and success planning conversations aligned with measurable outcomes
- Partnering with Sales to support renewals, expansions, and upsell opportunities through account planning
- Using data and customer health signals to prioritize work, identify risk, and uncover growth opportunities
- Acting as a trusted guide through support and product issues, setting clear expectations and driving efficient resolution
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Technical Support, and Implementations teams
You'll bring experience managing a book of business with accountability for retention and product adoption in a SaaS environment, with eCommerce and Shopify experience strongly preferred. You demonstrate technical aptitude—able to quickly learn product behavior, understand integrations or APIs, and explain technical concepts clearly to customers. You're comfortable using data tools like Salesforce or Looker to assess customer health and inform decisions. You balance empathy with strong judgment, knowing when to listen and when to drive toward resolution. You thrive in fast-moving environments with a growth mindset and coachability.
This is a hybrid role based in Recharge's downtown Toronto office (Core), requiring 3 days per week in-office. The team is known for technical depth, bias toward action, and close partnership across departments.
