Teamworks is hiring a Customer Success Manager I to own a growing portfolio of collegiate Division II and Division III athletic accounts across North America. You'll be the primary point of contact for approximately 100 accounts, directly responsible for driving gross revenue retention (GRR) and expansion revenue (Net New ARR). In this role, you'll manage the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal and expansion. You'll lead renewal and expansion conversations with athletic directors, coaches, and compliance staff, using account data and Gainsight insights to identify risks and opportunities proactively. You'll partner with internal teams to deepen product adoption and build trusted relationships across your portfolio. The ideal candidate brings either direct experience in collegiate athletics or a background as a Customer Success Manager with college sports expertise. You must demonstrate a proven ability to run renewal and pricing conversations with hesitant customers, not just claim experience. You should be comfortable managing an independent book of ~100 accounts with minimal day-to-day oversight and have genuine, intentional experience using AI tools like Claude or Notion AI to solve business problems. Familiarity with Teamworks products (Hub, Compliance & Recruiting) is a plus, as is background in account management, SaaS customer success, or customer education/training programs. This is an opportunity to own a fast-growing segment of the collegiate sports market and see your work directly impact key business metrics. You'll work at the pace of a tech company while engaging with the collegiate athletics world, joining a high-performing Customer Success team building the next chapter of sports tech. Teamworks is the Operating System for Sports, powering 7,000+ organizations worldwide from collegiate programs to every major pro league. Founded in 2006, the company has evolved into the leading sports tech platform with 600+ global employees.
