Anthropic is seeking a Customer Success Manager for its Commercial segment to drive AI adoption and help customers maximize value from Claude products and services. As one of the first CSMs in this segment, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to fast-moving organizations, helping them harness Claude's full capabilities—including Claude Code, Cowork, and the API—to achieve their business objectives.
Key responsibilities include building trusting relationships with customer decision-makers to understand their business needs and identify expansion opportunities; becoming an expert in Anthropic's product suite and guiding customers to appropriate solutions; monitoring usage patterns and proactively addressing underutilization across both consumption-based (API) and seat-based (Claude for Enterprise/Claude Code) models; serving as a thought partner to advance customers' AI journey by socializing product roadmaps and engaging with Product PMs; developing and executing change management strategies including Champion Programs, Train the Trainer initiatives, and Center of Excellence development; documenting and quantifying customer value through business outcomes and ROI metrics; identifying new use cases and lines of business for Claude expansion; owning the complete customer lifecycle through account planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, and serving as the primary Anthropic contact; and developing scalable engagement strategies and playbooks to optimize your portfolio and support peer CSMs.
You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders—from developers and product managers to executives and end users—and your insights will directly inform Anthropic's product development and go-to-market strategies.
