Anthropic is seeking a Customer Success Manager to support its Beneficial Deployments team's initiatives in Life Sciences. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leading research organizations, helping them harness Claude's capabilities across the API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and Claude Science to accelerate scientific discovery. You will own a portfolio of named strategic accounts including research institutes, academic medical centers, scientific foundations, and mission-driven biotech companies. For these accounts, you'll build genuine partnerships grounded in deep understanding of their research missions, scientific objectives, and technical capacity. You'll drive model and use case optimization, implement change management strategies tailored to academic and scientific organizational cultures, and maximize the value of their investment through expanded use cases. Beyond 1:1 account management, you'll design and execute one-to-many engagement programs including webinars, hackathons, cohort-based enablement, and researcher communities that extend Claude's impact across the broader life sciences ecosystem. Key responsibilities include: building strategic relationships with research leaders and IT teams; becoming an expert in Anthropic's product suite and best practices; monitoring usage patterns and proactively driving adoption; developing change management strategies appropriate for scientific organizations; establishing repeatable playbooks and health metrics for customer success in life sciences; designing and running community engagement programs; guiding partners through technical and governance foundations including SSO, provisioning, and compliance considerations (HIPAA, IRB, institutional data policies); and documenting value realized through research productivity metrics and success stories. You should have 6+ years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Engineering, plus 3+ years of direct experience in life sciences research. Familiarity with academic research institutions, nonprofit research institutes, biotech, or pharma is essential. Deep understanding of industry regulations, risk, and compliance is required. Experience driving success across both consumption-based and seat-based business models is valued.
