Sparta is a next-generation commodity trading platform that provides trading desks with clarity, control, and collaboration tools to trade smarter and faster. The company recently closed a $42M Series B funding round and is scaling rapidly across all functions.
As a Customer Success Manager, you'll own a portfolio of clients including hedge funds, oil majors, refiners, vessel owners, and trading companies. You'll be responsible for their complete lifecycle: onboarding, training, product adoption, retention, and growth. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, you'll work as part of a small, global CS team with significant autonomy to shape the role and drive impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning onboarding, training, and support for your client portfolio, driving product adoption and maintaining account health
- Building strong relationships with clients to understand their workflows and challenges
- Partnering with Sales to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and manage renewal risk
- Providing client insights to the Product team to inform roadmap decisions
- Maintaining and improving Customer Success processes and tools
- Contributing to a company-wide culture centered on customer success
You should have experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success or Account Management, ideally supporting data, intelligence, or SaaS products. Knowledge of or experience in oil & gas, commodities, or trading is valuable. You're comfortable with AI and automation tools, a strong communicator who builds relationships easily, analytical and process-minded, and proactive in ambiguous situations. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
