Spare is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Customer Success Manager to build and nurture deep relationships with government agencies and transit operators. You will own complex, multi-stakeholder accounts and drive expansion by translating Spare's platform capabilities into measurable operational outcomes for public sector customers.
Key responsibilities include: developing product proficiency across Spare's full suite and articulating value to government transit organizations; building comprehensive understanding of customer operations, organizational dynamics, and success metrics at both operational and political levels; guiding customers through structured success plans and delivering partner reviews that connect usage data to business outcomes; identifying expansion opportunities within day-to-day engagement and collaborating with sales to build pipeline; protecting revenue by synthesizing usage data and stakeholder sentiment to identify at-risk accounts early and implementing remediation strategies; and maintaining accurate CRM data while partnering closely with Account Managers as a co-owner of account health and renewal outcomes.
You will travel up to 30% within Canada and the USA for onsite customer visits, with flexibility to work remotely post-onboarding. The role requires 5+ years of Customer Success experience in SaaS, demonstrated ability to manage multiple B2B/B2G customers in complex environments, and strong skills in building trusted advisor relationships across organizational levels. Experience with government/public sector customers, transit/mobility, change management, or procurement cycles is a bonus. You must be available for short-notice travel and ideally live within 1.5 hours of an international airport.
