P-1 AI is building Archie, an AI engineer agent for the physical world designed to operate as a junior mechanical and electrical engineer within existing engineering teams. The company recently closed a $50M Series A led by NEA with participation from AI leaders at Anthropic and backing from Google and OpenAI investors.
As Customer Success Manager, you will own the full lifecycle of customer relationships—from discovery through deployment and expansion. You'll work directly with industrial customers (data center, automotive, aerospace & defense) to identify where Archie can deliver maximum impact, then partner with Field Deployment Engineers (FDEs) to ensure successful implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day deployment success, unblocking issues, and ensuring Archie delivers peak value
- Capturing customer feedback and emergent use cases into formal specifications that drive product development
- Serving as the voice of the customer in internal product roadmapping and prioritization
- Driving account expansion by identifying adjacent teams and use cases within existing customers
- Spending significant time on-site with customers (25% baseline, 50-60% during critical phases)
You should have direct experience managing AI deployments for enterprise customers, technical fluency to understand engineering tools and workflows, and commercial acumen to identify expansion opportunities. Domain expertise in data center engineering, automotive, or aerospace & defense is valued. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments and are comfortable with substantial travel.
The role is hybrid: remote (US/Canada) with one week per month in San Mateo, CA. Relocation support is available. Compensation includes competitive base salary, performance-based variable bonus, meaningful equity, and standard benefits.
