GitLab is seeking a Customer Success Architect to serve as a strategic technical advisor to the company's largest and most complex enterprise customers. Reporting to a Senior Manager in the North America Customer Success organization, you will own a portfolio of customers and drive adoption, retention, and expansion of the GitLab DevSecOps platform.
In this role, you will partner closely with customers post-sale to translate pre-sales plans into concrete success strategies. You'll guide customers through their adoption journey, deliver hands-on technical enablement, and help them realize meaningful business outcomes aligned with their goals. You'll leverage deep understanding of Git, CI/CD, software development lifecycles, and DevSecOps practices to help customers adopt best practices and stay current with GitLab capabilities.
Key responsibilities include: leading structured Accelerator programs from discovery through measurement; designing and delivering technical workshops and enablement initiatives; building and maintaining Customer Success Plans with defined KPIs; acting as the primary GitLab liaison for assigned accounts, coordinating across Support, Product Management, Sales, and Professional Services; analyzing usage and adoption signals to identify risks and recommend interventions; and managing escalations with clear context and resolution criteria.
You should bring practical experience with Git workflows, CI/CD practices, and DevSecOps; a track record guiding customers through technical and architectural decisions in complex enterprise environments; experience facilitating technical workshops and structured adoption programs; ability to translate business outcomes into actionable success plans; background in customer success, post-sales, or professional services focused on adoption and retention; strong portfolio management and cross-functional coordination skills; and excellent communication and analytical abilities.
