Allica Bank is the UK's fastest-growing fintech firm, focused on serving established SMEs—a major underserved segment representing over a third of the UK economy. This role sits at the intersection of sales, customer success, and product, responsible for bringing Allica's business current accounts and savings products to market.
As a Customer Success Executive (titled "Cash Management Executive" internally), you will identify and contact established SME decision-makers (owners, directors, financial directors) via telephone and email, converting them into active Allica customers. Your core mission is winning new accounts and owning the full end-to-end onboarding journey—from prospect identification through live, actively-used account delivery. You'll focus on SMEs with 12+ months trading history and £50k+ cash balances who can benefit from Allica's savings rates.
Key responsibilities include clearly communicating Allica's value proposition to SME decision-makers, working with variable-intent prospect lists to generate high-quality opportunities, understanding and supporting customers through the onboarding process, and delivering exceptional first impressions as often the first Allica representative SMEs interact with. You'll proactively learn products and underwriting criteria to improve efficiency and conversion, gather customer feedback on future product needs, and collaborate with marketing and data teams to refine targeting and messaging. You'll also work closely with relationship managers, operations, KYC, and underwriters to ensure seamless customer outcomes, manage your personal objectives and development plan, and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
You bring a proven track record in telephone-based lead generation with established SMEs (typically 5–250 employees), strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a history of outperformance and target achievement. You thrive in fast-paced, changing environments, work collaboratively across specialist teams, and demonstrate excellent customer service with an eye toward risk and reputation. Ideally, you have knowledge of SME financial products (payments, lending, accounting, CRM) and specific expertise in business current accounts.
Allica offers full onboarding and development support, flexible and hybrid working options, regular social activities, pension contributions, discretionary bonus, private health cover, life assurance, and enhanced family-friendly policies.
